Called To Serve

Taylor opened her mission call in Bozeman, Montana surrounded by her immediate family and Andrew, Mandy, Nate and Caleb Brooks (Emma on FaceTime at USU). It was a wild day of waiting and wondering if her call would come coupled by racing to the airport to beat a snow storm so our family could return to Reno, Nevada. We were all thrilled with her call and immediately got to work researching Santiago, Chile. 

Once we return home to Reno, Taylor discovered that another close family friend, Brock Nyborg, had served his mission in Santiago, Chile and was the first Assistant to the Mission President to help open the Santiago East mission in 1997. We spent the evening looking through Brock’s mission photos and hearing all about Santiago East and the Chilean culture, and trying on some of the traditional Chilean attire.
