LIFE IS GRAND! I know eventually missionary life will have lows, but so far it's been a dream. Each day, I wake up at 5:30 am with my companion. We start our day with a prayer, scripture study, and a sunrise walk around the CCM grounds. The rest of the day includes meals, classes (Spanish and religion classes), personal and companion study, language study, and volleyball.

This week my companion (Hermana Opager) and I got assigned to be Sister Trainer Leaders. This assignment is to help the other Hermana missionaries with anything they need. We teach lessons on Sunday and go to training meetings twice a week. I love that my full time job is to learn Spanish and about Christ.

Remember, remember that it is upon the rock of our Redeemer, who is Christ, the Son of God, that ye must build your foundation; that when the devil shall send forth his mighty winds, yea, his shafts in the whirlwind, yea, when all his hail and his mighty storm shall beat upon you, it shall have no power over to drag you down to the gulf of misery and endless wo, because of the rock upon which ye are built, which is a sure foundation, a foundation whereon if men build they cannot fall.

I STRONGLY testify if you build your rock on Christ, your life will transform. Pray in the name of Jesus Christ to our Heavenly Father for help and guidance. He hears you and loves you. Serve everyone with a humble heart as Christ did in His earthly ministry. Search the scriptures for answers, THEN ponder what you read.

There is an indescribable, unmatched power that comes from doing these simple things. Start small, and each day, put in a little more effort. Christ is eager to help us. I feel His immense love and power as I come to Him with a humble and faithful heart.

Jesus Christ is my confidence. He is my pure joy. He is my light. He is the only reason I am so positive in a time that would be easy to get down on myself. HE IS MY ROCK.
