Rabies
Sorry for all the dog videos. Minor obsession.
Mosiah 7:19 (Book of Mormon)-
Therefore, lift up your heads, and rejoice, and put your trust in God, in that God who was the God of Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob; and also, that God who brought the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt, and caused that they should walk through the Red Sea on dry ground, and fed them with manna that they might not perish in the wilderness; and many more things did he do for them.
There are so many incredible stories in the scriptures that we read about, yet I have always wondered why I have never experienced even an ounce of this type of power of miracles in my own life.
I love our Prophet's encouragement to Seek and expect miracles. He said,
"Every book of scripture demonstrates how willing the Lord is to intervene in the lives of those who believe in Him.
In the same way, the Lord will bless you with miracles if you believe in Him, 'doubting nothing (Mormón 9:21).'"
If we:
1. Pray to have unshakable faith in the power of God
2. Put in the work spiritually
3. Trust in God's timing
We can experience the unmatched power of God in our lives which is a personal witness and evidence of a loving, all knowing Heavenly Father.
I am in the process of rebuilding myself to become more like Christ. Honestly it's hard, uncomfortable, and frustrating at times. However, I know as I continue to feed this desire to become more like Christ and submit my will to God, He will make me more than I could have ever imagined. Everyday I work to "lift up [my] head, and rejoice, and put [my] trust in God" because " God is “the same yesterday, today, and forever” (Mormon 9:9). He can work mighty miracles like the ones we read of in the scriptures if we yield ourselves to Him.
