Ultimate Gringas

HOLA FAMILIA Y AMIGOS. 11/10 week. No lie.

Spiritual Thought: President Nelson asked us a question in his General Conference talk last year, "Christ is Risen; Faith in Him Will Move Mountains" THAT I LOVE and have reflected on:

"What would you do if you had more faith?"

So simple, yet so powerful. He continued,

"Then receive more faith by doing something that requires more faith"

We legitimately have access to godly power through our faith which acts as a key to unlock help, guidance, love, knowledge, and blessings from the heavens. The Book of Mormon prophet Alma invites us to "exercise a particle of faith, yea, even... [a] desire to believe" (Alma 32:27)

God is asking so little from us. If we simply have a desire to believe in His infinite and almighty power, our seed of faith will allow us to "say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you" (Matthew 17:20).

The mountains (trials) in our life can be climbed or moved when we have faith in God, His timing, and His perfect plan.

I have been so blessed from putting 100% confidence in God with being able to understand Spanish (or as we say here, Chileano) with training a new gringa missionary. I went from STRUGGLING with comprehension and only understanding 40% of conversations to understanding 95% in a MATTER OF ONE HOUR of having a new companion. This automatic blessing is personal evidence to me how real the power of God is. He literally changed my mind and heart to understand those around me. We need to remember these spiritual experiences in our lives so we can nourish our faith. I am nowhere close to having perfect faith, but President Nelson told us,

"The Lord does not require perfect faith for us to have access to His perfect power."
