Walking Disneyland

Spiritual:

This week had HIGH HIGHS and some low lows. One of our favorite friends (a family of 5) that was SO READY AND SO EXCITED for baptism at the end of the month... dropped us (the mom and grandma yelled at us for quite a while to not come back ever again). WHATTTT??? I was so sad because I have taught and served this family since the beginning of my mission and love them so much. I prayed so hard that we would either be able to help this family or find a new family to teach.

The next day at 10am we had a lesson with a lady that we didn't think had much interest, but as we talked about the doctrine of Christ, she seemed very interested in baptism. The spirit was SO STRONG and we set a date for her to be baptized!!! She then told us that she has two daughters that she wants to get baptized with... A FAMILY!!!

I have seen the unique blessings of the gospel of Jesus Christ in my family and want that for every person who I walk past. There is a distinct bond and love as we pray together, attend church, study the scriptures, and serve others. BASIC THINGS, however, these things have created "a sure foundation whereon if men build they cannot fall" (Helaman 5:12). I grew up knowing that I am a daughter of God and I can faithfully pray for blessings because "whatsoever thing ye shall ask the Father in my name (Christ's name), which is good, in faith believing that ye shall receive, behold, it shall be done with you" (Moroni 6:26).

I love that scripture because a big part of faith is having faith in God's timing. If we just accept His timing, the miracles and blessings will double because we are watching and expecting for them. I know God has a plan for Alejandro's family and that everything will work out the way it is supposed to in the future.
