Jacob 7:5 (Book of Mormon):

 

 

And he had hope to shake me from the faith, notwithstanding the many revelations and the many things which I had seen concerning these things... wherefore, I could not be shaken. 

 

 

I remember reading this in high school and being blown away by the amount of power in this scripture, and I read it again this week and felt it 10x MORE because my faith is actually being tested.

 

 

This week was interesting. Our area is normally super friendly and we are able to have great conversations with people in houses and the streets, but the Christmas spirit is nowhere to be seen. In fact, I think we have run into all of the haters in our area in just one week!!!! 

 

 

IT STINKS sometimes to be outside all day and get harshly rejected, HOWEVER, this scripture came to my head and I reread it and immediately had a change of perspective. 

 

 

Why would I let a couple days of rejection shake even a little of my faith??? I have seen the miracles of God first hand and know of a surety that the message I share is the message of the Lord. Those who are ready to grow their faith will accept it. 

 

 

My foundation has been strengthened this week and am SO EXCITED to continue to grow and strengthen my faith. GOD HAS HIS PERFECT PLAN AND TIMING!!

-WALTER GOT BAPTIZED!!!! 

-Walter introducing us to his family as his ángeles 

-24 HOURS WITH BFF HERMANA ARNE (she was in my district in the MTC and she is the coolest person ever) (we had the most powerful lessons with her friends) (ISMAEL, HECTOR, Y PAULA want to get baptized!!!) (Moroni 10:32-33) (I love her to death)

-Teaching Juan Carlos with his daughter Natalia (just got baptized!!) #familiesr4ever #neighbors

-Goal setting with hermana Vasquez 

-Fire bean dip 

-Pretty hike with district 

 

 

Lows:

-Argentina won

-Our house is a sauna 

-I have to leave my comp on two weeks
