I don't like how fast time is going! Someone told me this week, the amount of time I have on the mission and I was SHOCKED!!! I love CHILEEEEE AND MY MISSION!

This week, I focused on the talk Seeing More of Jesus in Our Lives by Sister Tracy Y. Browning (a leader in our church) and I love how she described our dependence on Jesus Christ as a daily and reflexive need.

I have been thinking a lot about the plea of prophets/leaders in the scriptures as well as in today's world to look unto Christ in every thought

For my whole life I have heard this phrase yet it always seemed impossible and went in one ear and out the other. However, our prophet told us to "strive to look unto Him in every thought".

STRIVE to make Him the center of our thoughts. STRIVE to do what he would do in every moment. STRIVE to make time for Him in our crazy busy lives.

So many of us have felt the power and pure joy of Christ, however, quickly forget that He is always the answer when we need Him most.

How can we STRIVE to always remember Him

-Study of the scriptures and messages of our church leaders daily

-Regular prayers guided by the Holy Ghost

-Frequent temple attendance

-Heart felt repentance

-Preparing for the Sacrament every Sunday

-Meditation and reflection

-Urgency in obeying the commandments

-Serving our families/friends/strangers

-Setting spiritual goals and completing them

I have set 15 SUPER TINY goals that I can complete each hour of my day this week that will help me to remember Him in all that I do. Though the goals I set are so small, I gotta start somewhere.

I am STRIVING little by little to look unto Him in every thought. Not just a few thoughts or when I need Him most, but truly in EVERY THOUGHT!!!

Highs:

-MONICA WANTS TO GET BAPTIZED and it was just the most pure lesson with her!!

-The word ánimo

-Intercambios with hermana Allred!!

-She gave me a mini fan #loml

-Lady bugs kept landing on me

-We have two bathrooms

-Our code word if we need to leave a situation is TTYL

-Church of Jesus Christ radio

-While Hermana Herrera was explaining her happiness in English she used the phrase "it feels delicious" and my heart melted

Lows:

-I sleep on the top bunk

-We have ants

-I hurt my foot and limp around everywhere

-Chileans take three month vacations

PRAY FOR GRANDPA DOUG

What can you do to move an INCH closer to Christ this week?

Con MUCHO AMOR Y ÀNIMO,
